Essential cookies

Boop uses secure, HTTP-only cookies for authentication and temporary protection during sign-in. They are sent only to the relevant site and cannot be read by ordinary page scripts. Blocking them can prevent login and other account functions. These cookies are not an advertising profile.

• __Secure-boop.session_token (or boop.session_token on a local development site): identifies your authenticated session, normally for up to seven days. Sign-out or session revocation invalidates access.
• Temporary boop-prefixed sign-in/state cookies, including __Secure-boop.state when required by the login flow: protect a sign-in or account-linking request and expire when the flow ends or times out. Their exact names can depend on the sign-in method.
• Cloudflare may use security cookies when a security challenge or bot protection is necessary. These are for protecting and delivering the website, not Boop advertising.

Local browser preferences

boop-zip remembers the browsing ZIP code, and boop-home remembers a selected home identifier where that selection is used. These are local-storage entries, not exact-address tracking cookies, and remain until replaced or cleared. The home identifier alone does not grant access. You can change the selection in Boop or remove site data using your browser's privacy controls.

boop-household-invitation in session storage temporarily remembers an invitation while you sign in or register in the same tab. It expires after up to seven days or when resolved; closing the tab normally clears session storage. The invitation still requires the exact invited, verified email and current permission checks.

Optional tracking

Analytics cookies: not used. Advertising cookies: not used. There are no optional trackers to enable or disable here. We will provide an appropriate choice before introducing optional tracking; continuing to browse is not treated as consent to a paid subscription or advertising.

We do not sell or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising. A browser privacy signal does not disable the essential cookies needed for the account service.

Google and Stripe pages

Choosing Google sign-in or opening Stripe checkout or billing takes you to that provider's site. Its cookies and privacy controls are governed by its own notice. Boop does not embed a Google map, Stripe card form or social advertising pixel on its pages today.

Your controls

Use Account & security to sign out or revoke sessions. Use your browser's site-data controls to clear cookies and stored preferences; doing so can sign you out or reset your saved selection. Clearing browser storage does not delete your Boop account or cancel a membership. Use Membership to cancel renewal or the data-request process to request account deletion.
